RULES 2011
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS – OVER 35 DIVISION
A team must consist of players of the age of 35 years or older but the team is allowed to play a maximum of three players under the age of 35 years, but not younger than 30 years of age, on the field at any time.
Any players under the age of 35 years must be identified on the team list.
The goalkeeper is the only player who can be of any age.
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS – OVER 45 DIVISION
A team must consist of players of the age of 45 years or older but the team is allowed to play a maximum of three players under the age of 45 years, but not younger than 40 years of age, on the field at any time.
Any players under the age of 45 years must be identified on the team list.
The goalkeeper can be 40 years or older.
CANCELLATION OF GAMES
In the event that a team has advanced knowledge that it can not field a team for a scheduled game than that team must give the league 24 hours notice.Failure to notify the league maybe subject to a Fine of $60.00.
In the event that a team is at the field but can not play the scheduled game due to an insufficient number of players, the opposing team will be awarded the three (3) points. Both teams may play an exhibition game and each team shall pay the $30.00 referee fee. If no exhibition game is played then the team which forfeits the game is responsible for the $60.00 referee’s fee.
All League Rules still apply when an exhibition game is played.
LINING OF GRASS FIELDS
The fields will be lined by the league.
DISCIPLINE
One (1) red card is a one (1) game suspension and a Fine of $25.00, unless the league deems that a greater suspension and monetary fine is necessary. The player must sit out the remainder of that game and the following game.
The accumulation of three (3) yellow cards is a one (1) game suspension and a monetary Fine of $25.00.
All Fines must be paid before the player returns to his next game.
PLAYOFFS GAMES
Assistant Referees shall be provided at all Semi Final games and at the Championship Game.
The Assistant Referee fees shall be paid for by the league.
